Cindy Gao

Cindy Gao (CC 2012) is a Comparative Ethnic Studies major from St. Louis, Missouri. In addition to being Political Chair of AAA, she is an IRC resident, ROOTEd (Respecting Ourselves and Others Through Education) facilitator, and a member of Radical CUNTS, SPEaK (Students Promoting Empowerment and Knowledge), LUCHA, the CSER Undergraduate Council. She has also organized with SJP (Students for Justice in Palestine) and SEEJ (Students for Environment and Economic Justice). Outside of Columbia, she has also volunteered with Bluestockings Activist Bookstore, Right Rides, and Chinese Staff and Workers Association.
